STS Connections will bring our tourism community together in Richmond, Virginia on September 9-11, 2026, but your experience doesn’t have to begin or end when the sessions do. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time to make plans and experience everything this vibrant city has to offer.
Richmond makes it easy to turn a conference trip into a cultural getaway. Explore historic sites and museums, discover more than 100 murals throughout the city, enjoy the arts and culture scene, or get outside along the James River and Virginia Capital Trail. There are also plenty of free attractions and experiences to enjoy, making it easy to explore without stretching your budget.
Arriving early or staying an extra day? Richmond has itineraries built around food, history, arts and culture, outdoor adventures, shopping and more, so you can create a visit that fits your interests. And with events happening throughout the region, there’s always something happening beyond the conference agenda.
