What is your take on the state of tourism in Dothan? Alabama?
It's very diversified, always growing and now about to explode!
What one trend above all do you see emerging in tourism?
One that will continue to emerge is that the Generation X'ers will continue to take their traditional family vacations through their children’s sports.
How do you measure success?
Revenue and occupancy figures. We always say that it is a family, and it is so true. Family looks after family!
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That I am beginning to like some country music!
You are a golf aficionado. Tell us your three favorite courses in the Southeast?
Sea Island, Ga.; TPC, Ponte Vedra, Fla.; Robert Trent Jones, Ross Bridge, Birmingham, Ala.; and of course, Robert Trent Jones, Highland Oaks in Dothan, Ala.
You are stranded on a deserted island. What three DVDs do you wish you had and why?
“Gone With Wind” because they really know how to have a barbecue, “Jackie Brown” because it has some good music in it and “Doctor Zhivago” because it would provide a feeling of some air-conditioning.
