Janice Marshall honored at Georgia Capitol
Janice Marshall was presented a commendation from Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue as well as from House and Senate members for years of service in the tourism industry. Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing lands a new LEGOLAND park. LEGOLAND Florida will be Merlin Entertainments 13th attraction in the U.S. LEGOLAND Florida will be the fifth LEGOLAND Park worldwide and the only one on the East Coast – with the others in California, Denmark, England and Germany. Mark Jackson, director of Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing, mentioned that "This is a huge success story for Polk County that will have a significant impact on Polk County as a tourism destination."
