STS volunteer project

It's not all work at Fall Meeting. Join us for several activities that make the 3-day conference worthwhile:

Volunteer Project: Ask anyone who has worked on an STS volunteer project and the response is always immediate and enthusiastic. We will be planting, weeding, trimming and mulching at the Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve. We supply the gloves; you supply the enthusiasm! Dress appropriately. Wed., Sept. 8 at 8 a.m.

Golf: Take the time to work on your swing at this award-winning Willard Byrd designed golf course. Verdae Greens Golf Club offers a quick way to enjoy all the upstate has to offer in golf. $60 includes lunch. Wed., Sept. 8 at 7:45 a.m.

Greenville Arts Tour: Get up close and personal with the rich variety of cultural offerings from the visual and performing arts to museums and galleries. Tour includes the Greenville Co. Museum of Art, Bob Jones Gallery, Italian Museum, Art Bomb and Artist’s Row at River Place. This excursion includes lunch ($25). Wed., Sept. 8 at 10 a.m.

Industry Awards Ceremony: The 2010 winners are revealed for travel and tourism's premiere award: The Shining Example. Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m.
