As Membership Coordinator of Southeast Tourism Society, Mr. Wilson is developing membership outreach programs for all twelve Southeastern states. These programs include; a quarterly News & Notes correspondence for all prospective STS members, bi-monthly Webinars for all STS members and DMO prospects and a peer to peer marketing program to provide education and greater awareness of STS benefits. Mr. Wilson is also developing programs that will better showcase our destination’s tourism assets by packaging lodging, dining experiences and attractions for greater consumer awareness and travel planning.
Mr. Wilson has over 32 years of sales and marketing experience including:Mr. Wilson’s achievements include; Designing and implementing the reservation call center in Myrtle Beach, managed the MCI Partner Program for the Hospitality Association of South Carolina, won numerous, “Circle of Excellence” awards, and won the national top sales award for IBM in 1986.
After years of sales and marketing to the hospitality industry I can honestly say that STS is truly a family organization where members feel at home. This is one association that puts relationships above all. My desire is to reach out to all organizations in our industry so we can collectively spread the inclusive message of tourism and bring greater awareness to the benefits offered through Southeast Tourism Society.
