A native of Massachusetts, Chuck Bonelli was raised in the south (from the age of 5), enjoying the beautiful white sands of Pensacola, Fla. Joining Southeast Tourism Society (STS) as vice president of marketing in January 2001, Chuck’s duties include membership, marketing and sales.

Before joining STS, Chuck was the Director of the Stone Mountain Tennis Center and it’s historic Olympic Stadium. Prior to that, Chuck learned the travel & tourism trade working at Stone Mountain, Georgia in Merchandise, Marketing and Special Events. This is Chuck’s second career following 25 years as a U.S. Navy Cryptologist with service around the world prior to moving to Atlanta in December 1995.

Chuck and his wife Carolina; the purchasing director with Hyatt Regency Atlanta, have been married for three decades; they have one daughter, Michelle, now on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Chuck is available to speak on festivals, events, the benefits of partnering and the unification of the tourism industry.
