Neville Bhada is vice president of communications and public relations for Southeast Tourism Society.
The majority of his career has centered around the media. His career took him to radio, initially. He worked for Clear Channel's WGST (Newsradio 640) and WPCH (PEACH 94.9) where he was Morning Show Producer and Assistant Program Director. While at WGST, he was awarded a Green Eyeshade Award for Sports Reporting and AP Award for Best Use of Sound.
From there he segued into working at What's Up Interactive, an Atlanta-based firm that created and maintained FOX, UPN and ABC television websites (including FOX Atlanta/WAGA, FOX New York/WNYW and ABC Los Angeles/KABC). In 2003, Neville earned a television Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Media Interactivity for a special web project he help created for FOX Chicago.
In early 2004, Neville started at WebMD as a Publisher. In 2005, he was morphed into a Project Manager handling Traffic/Continuity for WebMD's Consumer Network Services.
He currently works with Southeast Tourism Society handling many roles: communications, web and media. He also serves on the Board of the Georgia Festivals & Events Association; he currently is the executive director for the Southeast States chapter of Travel and Tourism Research ASsociation.
Neville Bhada is from Atlanta. He received his Bachelors from the University of Georgia in International Business and a Masters from Clemson University in Travel and Tourism. TTRA recognized his study on the 1996 Atlanta Olympic and honored him with the ‘Best Thesis’ award.
